Advocacy is important for new tech. People are invested in what they know and use. For them to change, you need to be *persuasive*.

This is a great perspective: bug reports should be clear, with reproduction instructions, but they need to be persuasive too.
One interesting consequence of a PR workflow is that your commit messages need to be persuasive. Describe what's changed, but be convincing!
