Overall I find a lisp-1 nicer to work with, but sometimes (funcall f) is nice and explicit. (f) is rather subtle in a paren-heavy language.

It has some really compelling screenshots (e.g. it makes the funcall more obvious here) and even works for non-lisps!
I'd assumed a lisp-2 required funcall, but MacLisp provided a different solution. ((if t '+ '*) 1) was legal! Feels much closer to a lisp-1.
