Difftastic is written in Rust, so I was surprised to get a user report of a segfault. Visual Studio is adding GMail-style predictive code completion, using an ML transformer model. Unlike GitHub Copilot, it seems to focus on smaller code snippets and leverages the surrounding code context. The examples generated seem less surprising.

Why don't browsers use history or Alexa rank to highlight trustworthy sites? Gmail already warns me if I haven't emailed a person/domain before. This seems like a viable heuristic against phishing sites.
