Whilst LLMs don't always give an accurate answer, the UI is really compelling. I keep finding users whose favourite way of doing research is an LLM.

On a traditional Linux distro, I just install things and forget about them. A curated, commented list would certainly be handy when I have a new system.
I think you could build an interesting IDE with a tiny embedded LLM in addition to the usual tooling.
