One nice property of key-value punning is how it reduces the risk of accidental reordering. Point { x, y, z } is less verbose than Point { x: x, y: y, z: z } and less error-prone than Point(x, y, z).

Good news: it's super easy to add LTO to Rust projects, and only added 60 seconds to difftastic's link time: [profile.release] lto = true Bad news: It only reduces the difftastic runtime by ~5%. At least it didn't require much wrangling to try :)

Tesla is closing many of its stores in favour of customers buying from its website. It's clear that automating a manual process reduces the number of jobs, but perhaps access to information does too? Are we reducing sales teams due to websites?
