Coming from JS or Python, imports in Rust feel weird. They're entirely optional aliases for fully qualified symbols, which are always available. I don't know of many other languages where you can just start using libraries. Java is the only one I can think of.

It's odd that games often show the hours played, but I've not seen this in other apps. "You've spent 20 hours talking to this person." Would this be a usage deterrent? If so, why do many games offer it by default?

I've added an eval button to the website of my programming language! It's a been a lot of work to lock down appropriately. It still needs some UI polish but it's so nice to be able to try snippets immediately. https://www.garden-lang.org/
