I tried OpenClaw today and I was surprised by the short time horizon of conversations. Am I holding it wrong?
W: Summarise open issues on my GH repo.
O: (summary)
W: OK, remember how I want you to format content [..].
O: Noted.
W: Summarise the issues again.
O: What issues?

AI agents (OpenClaw, Hermes Agent etc) seem to be increasingly standardising their design.
You have a UI for the markdown files writable by the agent (sometimes just Obsidian) plus a set of CLI tools for performing actions.
I've seen so many new CLIs recently too.
I certainly see the appeal of an LLM system with full context and tool use (OpenClaw), but the lethal trifecta puts me off deploying it.
I do like the idea of an agent with a heartbeat though. A bunch of nice cron-style workflows can be built on top.
