ido tip: if the current file doesn't exist, ido searches for similar files. You can undo with C-z, or simply disable
miniblog.

tap> is an elegant Clojure debugging feature: it passes the argument to any functions registered with add-tap.
You might set up a custom printer for your data type, or save values for later examination, and you can easily disable the tap too.
I've never seen a JIT with an "eject" option.
If I'm happy with the steady-state performance of my system, I'd rather disable the JIT and lose additional optimisation in favour of removing the tracing overhead. Do any languages offer this?
