So, apparently lisp machines had versioned file systems. It's a royal shame they haven't become popular on Linux systems.

There's less pressure to upgrade (unlike a rolling release distro) but in principle upgrading is easier.
Overall it seems like the Rust for Linux is making huge strides. Greg KH is super supportive of it[1] and the wider Linux community is pretty positive[2] (see all the quotes at the end of the slides).

The word "agent" is so overloaded in the AI space.
Sometimes it means a sophisticated interaction system, but other times it just means API.
I think it's partly a sign of how new the space is. We don't have consensus on the best way to use these systems yet.
