I don't see the value of kitsch 404 pages. Surely it would be better to have a search page that shows pages with similar URLs?

404 pages are an underappreciated opportunity to serve users. If I visit a /foo-bar-baz URL that doesn't exist, ideally the site would search for content matching foo, bar or baz rather than just displaying 'sorry' or a pun.
Somehow, a 403 is far worse than a 404 for a dead link. I've done nothing wrong and feel vaguely accused.
