Trying to let my 3yo try as many different technology interfaces as possible. Mouse: not too bad, especially after reducing sensitivity. Keyboard: WASD is easy to lose track of in a sea of buttons. Controller: requires both hands together, which is tricky. Arguably the left hand is more important too, hard for a right hander.

I'd heard the conventional wisdom that UX research states that mice are more efficient than keyboards, but turns out there's virtually no research on this!

It's a tragedy that ; and : are often on the same key on the keyboard, are often both legal syntax, and are so visually similar. I wonder how much programmer time has been wasted.
