It's incredibly hard to explain adversarial problems to users. I see gamers sincerely asking "why doesn't the publisher just fix the cheater problem?". This is exacerbated by the fact that sharing too many details of anticheat can make the problem worse.

I would have thought that invoking a C compiler would be a solved problem. Looking at Rust's cc crate there's a remarkable long tail of corner cases to fix. I hear people say that Go is often hard to search online (hence sometimes "Golang"), but the vast majority of language names are common words. Names with punctuation (C++, C#) are hard too. Is this a big problem in practice? "Perl" isn't a dictionary word, but it's an exception.
