There are docs resources like https://diataxis.fr/ that categorise documents based on format and intended audience. They don't say where you should start, or what order you should write docs. I'm currently thinking README > reference > tutorial > how-tos. Agree/disagree?

It's rare to see ANSI escape codes for URLs in the wild, but cargo has it! This example links to https://doc.rust-lang.org/cargo/reference/profiles.html#default-profiles, describing the different profiles. Considering releases vs debug is a source of confusion for new users expecting better performance, this seems wise.

I struggle with dependency syntax. I never remember what ^1.2.3 means or how it differs from ~1.2.3. I believe both npm and cargo assign the same meanings to this notation, but it's less obvious than e.g. 1.x. 1.2.3 isn't an exact version constraint either!
