Finding a MUD client today is a battle against bitrot. I've been using tintin++, one of the few clients that is still maintained.

OH: Minecraft is the MUD of today's youth. This is a really interesting way of thinking about Minecraft! It certainly seems to be an outlet for all sorts of creative projects.
