Sometimes I think the 'deep web' is just websites that aren't indexed (or poorly indexed) by Google.

zsh is generally wonderful, and it's sufficiently like bash/POSIX sh that it works. However, it uses 1-indexed arrays, whereas bash uses 0-indexed arrays. This totally caught me out.

Google prefers to index newer pages: https://stop.zona-m.net/2018/01/indeed-it-seems-that-google-is-forgetting-the-old-web/ Perhaps people want newer results more often? The article suggests there's probably a limit how much can be indexed for immediate retrieval.
Indeed, it seems that Google IS forgetting the old Web
XML pioneer and early blogger Tim Bray says that Google maybe suffers of deliberate memory loss. I may have found more evidence that this is the case.
