`git checkout -b branch_name; git push -u origin branch_name` -- obvious(!) really. I like #git, I'm not sure it likes me.

Had my first genuine (i.e. no faulty hardware) #Linux kernel panic in years of Linux usage. Sooner or later it had to happen, I suppose.
