The more available information is, the more I find I need to respond sooner.
Sure, I could respond to a message about meeting up at any point. But if I don't respond promptly, I rarely have the context to prompt me later.
I find "now or never" to be more common!

I'm intrigued by Twitter's new features to control who responds to tweets, but I worry it would create a bunch of moderation work. For better or worse, 'anyone can respond' is a straightforward model.

I've found Inbox Zero to be a really effective approach, but it comes at a cost. The article seems to mix 'must respond' with 'must read' in email tasks.
