Thinking more about software pricing trends: boxed software was often £30+ when I was a kid. Paying that amount for a smartphone app seems expensive today.

Inevitably I find some small thing to change in my code just after I've done a release.
I'm feeling motivated, I'm paying attention to detail, and stuff just jumps out. I suspect it's because I end up looking at different parts during a release.
I would not want to run https://example.com/: any large service probably has buggy automated systems hammering it, but https://example.com/ is almost certainly worse.
