It's really satisfying fixing crashes in rust-analyzer. You can start from a panic message and dig until you've got a tiny Rust program that triggers the problem. (It's usually an issue with incomplete source files breaking invariants.)

One month after configuring my VPS to reboot weekly, and I'm *still* finding services that aren't properly configured to start on boot. I'm developing a newfound appreciation for tools like Chaos Monkey.

Looking at how my servers update themselves and the recent Copy Fail vulnerability, I'm considering an automated weekly restart to make sure services and kernels are up to date. It'd also ensure that services are correctly configured to start on boot. Any thoughts? Feels crude.
