@bugaevc@mastodon.technology Idle thought: why not make the command grey, leaving white for output? The user knows what they've typed, but doesn't know what the output will be.

I would *love* a terminal emulator that treated each command as an atomic unit, so I can efficiently scroll between them.
Line-based scrolling is annoying when you've just run a command that output 1,000 lines.

I find it odd that people recommend Docker for sandboxing agentic coding tools. Isn't it easier to just create a separate user account on the machine?
It's an established security boundary, and viewing output is easy (just make the user's home directory world readable).
... and my third refactoring with Cursor changed some function calls that I didn't want it to modify. Subtle.
I've had the most success with AI coding tools when I know exactly what I want the output to look like.
