I'm giving up on "best tweets first". I like the idea in principle, but I'm just not getting much variety in my feed.

I've written a website that archives all my posts/tweets/toots/skeets across different microblogging platforms!
It's fun to be able to see similar posts that I wrote at completely different times. It also lets me edit links that have bitrotted.
I'm intrigued by Twitter's new features to control who responds to tweets, but I worry it would create a bunch of moderation work. For better or worse, 'anyone can respond' is a straightforward model.
I'm coming to the view that microblogs (tweets) and normal blogs are too time focused. There's a pressure for novel ideas, ideas must be polished, and they assume you don't want to edit old ideas.
Perhaps a bliki is a better model?
